Destiny Haven Nursery and Pre-school is at 32 Clarendon Road, N8 0DJ, just off Turnpike Lane. From Duckett's Green it's a short journey by bus. Routes 121, 123, 141, 144, 184, 221, 230, 232, 29, 329, 41 and 67 all serve the area, along with night buses N29, N41 and N91. Most parents find it fits easily into their morning and evening routine.
Yes, we accept both 15 and 30 hours funded childcare. You can use your government funding with us, and we're happy to discuss how it works alongside any additional hours you might need.
We care for children from 3 months right through to 5 years old, so you could have your child with us from baby stage all the way through to school readiness. If you'd like to know about current availability, please get in touch and we can discuss your specific needs.
We're rated Good by Ofsted, which reflects what you'll see day to day when you visit. You'll meet our Qualified Early Years Teacher and our experienced practitioners who genuinely know your child. Children are safe, engaged, and learning through play in a purpose-designed space with a secure outdoor area and nature garden.
We never rush settling and we mean it. Before your child's first day, we have a key person call to get to know your family properly. Then we extend a 10-day settling programme at no extra cost, building trust and familiarity at your child's pace. If they need extra sessions beyond that to feel genuinely happy and secure, we add them at no charge. The goal is a child who walks through our doors feeling safe and excited, and that takes time and genuine partnership between us and you.
