Why families choose us

Our approach

What makes a nursery feel right is knowing your child is genuinely known by their key person, not just looked after. We've built Destiny Haven around that principle. Our team stays consistent, so when your child arrives each morning, they see familiar faces who understand their temperament, their interests, and what they need to feel secure. We're rooted in Christian values, but that translates into practice as care that respects every family we work with, whatever their background or belief.

In practice

We're rated Good by Ofsted, and we accept both 15 and 30 hours funded childcare so families can build a session pattern that suits their work. We've also promised never to rush settling. If your child needs longer than ten days to feel genuinely happy at nursery, we extend the programme at no extra cost. We know starting nursery is huge for the whole family, so we move at your child's pace.

For families in Alexandra Palace

Alexandra Palace families often tell us they chose us because the commute works and the community feels local. You're not driving across London or relying on childcare that doesn't fit your routine. We're part of your neighbourhood, and we take that responsibility seriously.

What our families say

Real feedback from parents who have trusted us with their children's early years.

  • Our son has been at Destiny Haven for 2.5 years (has been attending since he was 1 year and will go until he goes to school). Our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The staffing has been consistent since he joined, with responsive key workers who meet us regularly throughout the year for updates.

  • A beautiful, caring environment where children truly feel safe, supported, and loved. From the outside the building may not look particularly impressive, but once you step inside it is a completely different story – warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up for the children.

    Susanna R.
  • Our son has been attending Destiny Haven for almost three years and he absolutely loves it! He has made great friends, he learns quite a lot and the staff are so welcoming and kind. They regularly keep in touch with us to provide information on how he is progressing and they also have days where parents can come to the nursery and see what the children do during their day. Would highly recommend this nursery to any parents with young children!
