Each room at Destiny Haven Nursery is built around a specific stage of development. Different routines, different environments, different focuses - but the same key person model, the same attention to the individual child, and the same commitment to keeping you informed throughout the day.

  • Babies Room

    Babies Room

    Ages 3 - 18 months · 1:3 ratio

    Key focus

    Sensory exploration, early communication, physical development, and secure attachment.

    A typical day

    Our baby room is built around consistency and warmth. Feeds, sleeps, and play follow your baby's own rhythms. Key workers build close bonds so your baby always has a trusted face nearby.

    Sleep approach

    We follow each baby's individual sleep cues. Cots and sleep checks are in place throughout the day.

  • Toddlers Room

    Toddlers Room

    Ages 18 months - 3 years · 1:5 ratio

    Key focus

    Language development, independence, emotional regulation, and early social skills.

    A typical day

    Toddlers thrive on routine. Our days are structured around consistent rhythms with plenty of space for child-led exploration, messy play, and outdoor time.

    Sleep approach

    Rest mats are available after lunch. We work with families to align rest time with home routines.

  • Pre-School Room

    Pre-School Room

    Ages 3 - 5 years · 1:8 ratio

    Key focus

    Early literacy and numeracy, problem-solving, collaborative play, and school readiness.

    A typical day

    Pre-school children have greater independence and choice. We balance child-led projects with intentional activities that build skills and confidence for the next stage.

    Sleep approach

    Most pre-school children no longer nap. Quiet activities are available after lunch for children who need a slower pace.
